Team Tryout Information
The Cross Country team does not cut runners unless there is a safety or behavioral concern.
Important Practice Dates
Pre-season practices: 07/27, 07/29, 07/31, 08/03, 08/05, 08/07 from 3pm - 4:30pm.
Regular season practices: First Practice 08/12 Practices Every day from 3:00-4:45pm.
Recommended Off-season Workouts
6 days a week run between 2-4 miles daily.
Please keep a running log where you write down your total daily and weekly mileage.
The more hills the better.
Lunges 10x3 two days a week
Pushups 10x3 two days a week
Planks 60secsx3 two days a week.
Please conduct dynamic warmups and strides before each run.
Required Equipment
Good Running Shoes - Trail Shoes are recommended as we will be running predominantly on grass and trails, but any good pair of running shoes.
1L Water Bottle - This is required daily.
Towel for core workouts
Appropriate running attire shirt, shorts, etc.
Suggested: Hat and Sunscreen
