If you’re interested in participating in Spring Track & Field, please complete this interest form.
On Feb. 19th, there will be an informational meeting from 3-4pm in the cafeteria for athletes who want to participate. This is for ATHLETES ONLY and we will NOT practice this day.
Track season officially starts on Monday, Feb. 23rd. Practice times will be Mon-Fri 3-5pm. Some practices may extend until 5:30 once or twice a week. This will be for specialized events, like high jump or triple jump, and we will let you know ahead of time.
There will be a parent meeting on Feb 26th, 6-7pm in the cafeteria.
What you'll need once practices begin:
* Layers: for temps below 50°F, long sleeves and pants/tights will be required
* Refillable water bottle (preferably with your name on it somewhere)
* Good running shoes (spikes are optional)
Students must have a current VHSL physical on file in order to participate.
