Blacksburg Middle School is gearing up to "can" Dr. Johnson from September 7-12.
In partnership with Micah's Backpack, a local non-profit providing food assistance to area students, BMS students and staff are encouraged to donate cans of fruits and vegetables.
All donated cans will be placed in Dr. Johnson's office with the goal of filling his entire office with donations.
All of the collected cans will be delivered to Micah's Backpack later in September.
